- How do I save ringtones I’ve created, and where do saved ringtones go?
Ringtones are created in the Mixer, and saved to your MyTones page. From MyTones, you can then share the ringtone with friends in a number of ways. (See the Share link in MyTones.)
- Can I send ringtones to my friends?
Yes, there are several ways you can send ringtones to your friends. You can share they by email, posting the ToneMine widget to any web page, and downloading the file to your computer and sending it that way. You can also SMS (text) the ringtone to your phone, and then forward that text message.
- What happens if a Sound Pack is no longer available.
Occasionally, we may remove some Sounds Packs that were used to create ringtones. If this happens, the ringtones that were created will remain available, but those ringtones will not be editable, because the Sound Pack is no longer available.
- How can I remove a ringtone I’ve created.
The Remove button will delete a ringtone from your Library. If you created that ringtone, it will delete it from the entire ToneMine database, too. If someone else created it, then it will just delete it from your Library.
- Do I need a free ToneMine account to use the site?
You can play with the mixer, listen to ringtones, and send friends emails to ringtones without registering. By opening a free ToneMine account, you can also save your personal ringtone mixes, send them to your phone, post them to any web page, and download them to your computer.
