Hi,
Is it possible to save the file as an iPhone ringtone in m4r format?

Hi hall12,
No, it's not possible to save it as anything other than an mp3. Here's a workaround, though, if you use Garage Band.
Download the MP3 and import it into iTunes.
Then, just open GarageBand,
open iTunes, and simply drag and drop the song from iTunes to a new
track in GarageBand.
Then, in Garage Band, under Share, select Send Ringtone to iTunes, and it will come in as a Ringtone in iTunes.
From there, sync your phone and you'll have it as a ringtone.
